3 1/4 C flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
1 C vegetable or canola oil
3 C sugar
1 can (16 oz.) pumpkin
4 eggs
2/3 C water
1 C chocolate chips (or 2 if you really like it chocolaty)

Heat oven to 350º
Sift dry ingredients together. Add to other ingredients. Beat thoroughly. Bake for 25 - 45 minutes depending on size of loaf. Yield 2 large or 4 small loaves.
