1/2 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. Baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 pint sour cream

6 tbsp. margarine
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease and flour pan.

In a small bowl mix together: margarine, brown sugar, cinnamon, chopped nuts. Set aside.

Combine the remaining ingredients. Pour 1/2 the batter into prepared pan, sprinkle 1/2 the sugar/nut mix over the batter. Repeat for another layer of batter and sugar/nut mix on top.

Bake for 50 minutes or until done in the center
