3 c sugar
1 can (12oz) evaporated milk
3 sticks softened butter
1 and 1/2 c shortening
4 t vanilla or almond flavoring

Beat egg whites until stiff. Cream butter, sugar, shortening and flavoring. Beat in warm evaporated mild, Beat until sugar is dissolved, Beat until smooth and creamy.
