2 c. Sugar
2 c. Butter (not margarine)
4 c. Flour
4 tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Nutmeg
1/2 tsp. Cloves
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
1/4 tsp. Salt
1/3 c. Sour Cream
1/2 c. Slivered Almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar together. Sift flour, spices, salt and baking soda. Stir flour mix into butter, add sour cream and nuts. Knead together and divide half. Roll in wax paper and chill over night. Cut in thin slices and bake at 375º for 10-12 minutes.
