1 stick butter
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup milk
2 pkgs. dry yeast
1/3 c. lukewarm water
3 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. mace

Directions:
Directions:
In a sauce pan, heat together the butter, sugar and milk to just before boil (scald). Let cool slightly then add the salt and mace.
Dissolve dry yeast in lukewarm water.
Beat egg, then slowly add milk mixture and stir, then add yeast mixture. Mix well.
Add flour and mix well. Form into a ball and place in a warm spot and let raise until double (1 1/2 - 2 hours). Punch down; divide into fourths and place on saucers and refrigerate.

Roll out each section into an 8" diam. circle. Cut into 12 pie-shaped slices.
Starting with the outer edge (wide part), roll up and place on cookie sheet.
Let rise until double and bake for about 10 minutes at 375º.
