3 C flour
1 tsp salt
5 1/2 Tbs cold water
1 1/4 C butter flavor shortening
1 egg
1 tsp white vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Work flour, shortening and salt until fine. Beat egg, water and vinegar together. Make a little well in the flour mixture and add the liquid. Mix together thoroughly. Divide dough into 3 or 4 pieces. Roll each out on floured surface. Makes 3 or 4 one crust pies. Good and never fails.
