First Layer:
1/4 lb. butter
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 whole eggs
1/4 tsp. vanilla

Second Layer:
1 pint cream
Vanilla
Sugar to taste
1 cup drained, crushed pineapple
1/2 cup maraschino cherries
1/2 cup nut meats

Vanilla wafers

Directions:

Cream first layer ingredients together thoroughly.

Whip cream with vanilla and sugar to taste. Then add pineapple, cherries and nut meats.

Grind vanilla wafers and cover a buttered Pyrex dish with generous amount of crumbs. Spread on first layer, then second layer. Cover with vanilla wafer crumbs and put in the refrigerator overnight. I have frozen it in the deep freeze. Take out a little while before serving if it is frozen.
