1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup nuts
1 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
3 1/2 cups flour
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 or 3 tablespoons buttermilk
1 teaspoon soda

Combine all ingredients. Drop on greased cookie sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees.
