Baked Spaghetti Recipe

16 oz. spaghetti
1 lb. ground chuck beef
1 small onion chopped
1-26 oz. jar of spaghetti sauce
1/2 t. Lowry's seasoned salt
2 eggs
1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
5 T. melted butter
16 oz. cottage cheese
4 c. mozzarella cheese

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º

Cook pasta according to package directions. Brown beef and onion in oil. Stir in spaghetti sauce and seasoned salt.

In a large bowl, whisk eggs; add Parmesan cheese, cottage cheese and butter.

Layer half the spaghetti, egg mixture, beef mixture and mozzarella cheese in a casserole dish. Repeat layers.

Cover and bake for 40 minutes. Uncover and bake 30 minutes longer.

I cream the cottage cheese in a blender or immerser and sometimes I mix the spaghetti with the egg sauce instead of layering them.
