2 ib. lean ground beef
1 clove garlic, minced
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped celery
1 c. chopped green pepper
salt & pepper to taste
1 1/2 tbsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. paprika
1 tsp. ginger
1 tbsp. sugar
1 can (1 lb. 4 oz.) tomatoes
1 can ( 6oz.) tomato paste
1 can ( 8 oz. ) tomato sauce
2 cans ( 1 lb. 4 oz. each) kidney beans
2 tbsp. flour
3 tbsp. water

Directions:
Brown beef, garlic, onions, celery and green pepper in large saucepan. Add seasonings, tomatoes, paste and sauce; simmer gently one hour. Add kidney beans. Combine flour and water; stir into mixture and simmer 15 minutes longer.
