I can SPAM, cut in strips or squares
fresh pineapple, cut in chunks
reserve pineapple juice for basting
Bamboo skewers, soaked in water

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare grill.
Assemble SPAM and pineapple on skewers in alternating pattern.
Place skewers over indirect heat on grill, and baste occasionally with pineapple juice if desired, turning kabobs after 3-4 minutes on each side, or cooked to preference.
If using wooden skewers, soak for at least 30 minutes before using to reduce burning skewers.

Did you know that SPAM was created as a way to use pork shoulder instead of throwing it away. It's mostly made up of pork shoulder, ham, water and corn starch. If you don't intend to ever try SPAM, feel free to substitute it for regular old ham.
