16 Brussel sprouts
2 tbsp fruity olive oil
Sea Salt
Ground Pepper

Remove any loose fibrous outer leaves of the Brussel sprouts. Trim the bottom ends and remove the tiny cores with a sharp paring knife. Use your fingers to separate individual leaves.

Heat the olive oil in a saute pan over medium heat. When the olive oil is hot, add the Brussel sprout leaves. Season with salt and pepper. Saute vigorously, stirring and tossing, until the leaves have softened and begin to crisp and brown slightly, about 5 minutes. Serve at once.

These sprouts are so easy to make and are one of the first things I made Brenden "try" if he wanted me to be cooking for him as his wife. It worked out and now they're my easy go-to veggie!
