1/4 c butter
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg, well beaten
1/2 c sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 1/2 c all purpose flour
2-3 large ripe bananas
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.

Soften butter. Cream butter with sugar in mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
Mash the bananas and add to the butter and sugar mixture.
Add salt, cinnamon, lemon juice and egg.
Sift flour with baking powder and fold into liquid mixture.

Pour into greased load pan (9x5). Bake for one hour.

This is the first Guatemalan recipe we made.

Try adding chocolate chips and making muffins instead of a loaf.
