1# round steak, 1/2" thick
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
Flour

1 Tbsp. sugar
1 bay leaf
1 medium onion, sliced thin
2 cans (8 oz) tomato sauce
Directions:
Directions:
Roll steak in flour, salt and pepper and brown in 2 tbsp shortening for about 10 minutes. Then add sugar, bay leaf, onion and tomato sauce. Simmer for about 1 1/2 hour.
