Bourbon Pecan Pie Recipe

1 3/4 C sugar
1 8 oz package cream cheese at room temperature
3 large eggs
1 T pure vanilla extract
1 unbaked 10" deep dish pie crust
1 1/2 C pecans
4 T unsalted butter, melted
3/4 C light corn syrup
1 T bourbon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375º.

Using an electric mixer, beat together 3/4 C of the sugar and cream cheese until smooth. Beat in 1 of the eggs and the vanilla extract. Spread on the pie crust. Scatter the pecans on top.

In a medium bowl, whisk the remaining 1 C sugar, remaining 2 eggs, butter, corn syrup and bourbon. Pour over the nuts in the pie crust.

Bake until firm in the middle and dark brown on top. 45-55 minutes. Let cool completely before serving.
