1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
3 Dutch rusks, crushed fine
1/2 cup milk
1 egg
2 tbsp. grated onion
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. allspice
1/8 tsp. clove
1/4 tsp. pepper
2-3 tbsp. butter
2 beef bouillon cubes
2 cups hot water

Directions:
Directions:
Combine beef, pork, rusk crumbs, milk, egg, onion and spices. Shape into large meatballs. Brown in butter. Dissolve bouillon cubes in hot water and pour over meat balls. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes. If gravy is desired, stir 2 tbsp. flour into meat juices.
