10 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs beaten
2 cups raisins
1/2 cup butter or shortening
3 cups scalded milk
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 pkg. active dry yeast


Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, combine shortening, sugar and salt. Scald milk and add to the shortening mixture. Cool to lukewarm and add sugar, eggs, raisins, spices and yeast. Gradually beat in the flour, then knead for 10 minutes. Cover and let rise until doubled. Punch dough down and let rise again until doubled. Divide into 7 loaves and place in lightly greased loaf pans. Bake at 300 for 45 minutes.

You may want to divide 1 loaf into small buns.
