1 1/2 lb round steak
1 c finely chopped onion
2 cloves garlic
2 T vegetable oil
1/3 c red wine vinegar
1 3/4 c water
1/2 c chili sauce or picante sauce
1 T paprika
1 T chili powder
2 t seasoned salt
1 t soy sauce
1 8 oz fresh mushrooms
1 8 oz carton sour cream
3 T flour
6 oz wide egg noodles

Cut steak into bite size pieces put in baggie. Combine onion & garlic in a baggie. Combine vinegar, water, chili sauce, paprika, chili powder, seasoned salt, soy sauce and mushrooms in a baggie. Combine flour and sour cream in another baggie. Put all in a large freezer bag and freeze for later. (Sometimes the sour cream curdles. So I stopped freezing it. It lasts a long time in the fridge in an unopened container)

Thaw in the Refrigerator

Cook and stir steak onion and garlic in oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. drain. Stir in vinegar, water, chili sauce, paprika, chili powder, seasoned salt, soy sauce and mushrooms into steak mixture. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 20 minutes until meat is tender. Stir in sour cream mixture.

Cook egg noodles according to package directions. Serve Stroganoff over noodles.
