Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 1/2 C. Warm Beer
1 pkg Active Dry Yeast
4 1/2 C. Flour
2 Eggs Beaten
Coarsely Crushed Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Pour warm beer into large mixing bowl. Sprinkle in yeast and sugar. Stir until dissolved. Mix in flour. Form into a ball. Turn out onto lightly floured board, knead until smooth and elastic, about 10 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, turning to grease all sides. Cover and let rise in a warm place (80 to 85 degrees) free from draft, until dough has doubled in bulk.

Punch dough down. Use a 1 1/2 inch ball of dough and form into a 15 inch rope to form pretzels. Place on greased baking sheets, about 2 inches apart. Brush with beaten eggs and sprinkle with coarse salt. Bake in a pre-heated very hot oven (475º) for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from baking sheet and cool on wire racks.
