1 cup sugar
1 cup butter
2 eggs separated
3-4 medium bananas
2 cups flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, add sugar and egg yolks - mix well. Mix flour, salt, soda in a separate bowl, add dry with wet ingredients alternatively with bananas add nuts. Fold in lightly egg whites.
Grease and flour pan.
Bake at 350 degrees F approximately 1 hour 20 minutes or until golden brown.

When it comes out I add a little butter on top. Or you can add brown sugar about 10 minutes before done, if you add sooner it will fall.
