1 1/2 c. quick cooking oats
1 c. M & M miniature baking bits
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 t. baking soda
1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
1 pkg. (13" x 9" pan size) fudge brownie mix
** + ingredients listed on box to make brownies **

In a bowl, combine the first 6 ingredients; mix well. Set aside 3/4 cup for topping. Pat the remaining mixture into a greased 15" x 10" x 1" baking pan. Prepare brownie batter according to package directions. Spread over the crust. Sprinkle with the reserved oat mixture. Bake at 350º for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack before cutting.

Good for bake sales. I've always used a 13x9 pan - turns out thicker and don't get as many, but still tastes great.
