Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 20oz. can apple pie filling
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. walnuts or pecans, chopped fine
3 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. butter, softened
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3 eggs
3 T butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Take out 1 stick of butter and cut into 8-12 squares to soften faster. Preheat oven to 350. In a small bowl, combine apple pie filling and cinnamon, then set aside. In another bowl, combine brown sugar and chopped nuts, then set aside.

In a mixer bowl, add flour, sugar, butter, baking powder, and salt. I added some of the milk before I started my beater so the flour wouldn't poof up, then drizzled the rest of the milk in as I mixed it on low speed. Add eggs one at a time until incorporated, then mix on medium speed for 2 minutes. Batter will still be lumpy because of the butter, but that's fine.

While batter mixes, grease a 9x13 pan. Add half of the batter to the pan and spread evenly with a spatula. Using fingers or fork, cover the batter with half of the apples. I dropped mine one at a time until they were evenly distributed. Sprinkle half of the brown sugar mixture on the apples.

Add the rest of the batter and spread gently with a spatula until even. Evenly distribute the rest of the apples on the batter. Add melted butter to the remaining brown sugar mixture and stir until combined. Using fingers, sprinkle evenly over apples.

Bake for 45 minutes or until toothpick in the center comes out clean. I checked mine after 40 minutes and it was not done, but it was absolutely perfect after 45.
