1 c, shortening
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 c. quick cooking oats
1 1/2 t. baking soda
1/2 t. salt

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, cream shortening, peanut butter and sugars. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine the flour, oats, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture.

Roll into 1 inch balls. Place 3 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets. Flatten with a fork. Bake at 350º for 10 - 12 minutes or until bottoms are lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool.
