1/2 c butter or margarine
1/2 c white sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
1 egg
1 c sifted white flour
1.5 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 c baking coconut
1 c corn flakes
1/2 c chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugars until light. Beat in egg. Sift dry ingredients together, and add to creamed mixture. Stir in coconut and corn flakes (and nuts if using).

Drop by tablespoon 2 inches apart on parchment paper or baking mat on a cookie sheet.

Bake 350º F for 10 minutes. Watch carefully so as to not overcook.
