Yams
1 square real butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. white Karo syrup

Directions:
Directions:
Scrub yams. Place in pan and fill half full with water. Start to boil. Turn down heat and steam until tender but not mushy. Drain. Refrigerate overnight.
Peel and cut yams into chunks. Place in casserole dish.
To make sauce, melt butter, brown sugar, and white Karo syrup, heat until dissolved, but DO NOT BOIL. Pour sauce over yams, Bake 350º for 30 minutes or until really hot.
