1 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. shortening
1 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. cloves
1 t. nutmeg
2 c. flour
1 t. soda
1 c. nuts, chopped
Directions:
Directions:
Put first 8 ingredients in saucepan and bring to a boil. Cool. Sift together the flour and soda; add to cooled mixture and mix well. Add nuts. Pour into 9x13 pan. Bake at 350* for 30 minutes.
