1 lb. raisins
1 1/2 c. water
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1 t. baking powder
1 t. soda
1/2 t. salt
1 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. cloves
1/2 t. allspice
1/2 c. fruits & peels
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
Directions:
Directions:
Put water, sugar and raisins on low heat about 10 minutes. Add butter and cool. Sift dry ingredients together; add fruits & peel and nuts to dry ingredients. Beat eggs; add to raisin mixture; then add dry ingredients. Put into angel cake pan. Bake at 300* for 1 - 1 1/2 hours.
