1 c. shortening
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
3 1/2 c. flour
1 t. soda
1 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. cloves
1 t. cocoa
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1/2 c. cold coffee
1 t. vanilla

Directions:
Cream shortening and brown sugar. Add eggs. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Drop onto greased cookie tins. Bake at 350*.
