1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 egg
1 t. vanilla
1/2 t. soda
1/2 t. baking powder
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped

Mix well. Press into a roll in wax paper. Cool, slice and bake at 350*.
