1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 egg yolks
1 c. banana, mashed
1/4 c. sour milk
1 t. soda
1 3/4 c. flour
1 t. baking powder
1/4 t. salt
2 egg whites
1 t. vanilla
1 c. nuts, chopped
whipped cream
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening. Add egg yolks and bananas. Combine sour milk with the baking soda. Add milk mixture, flour, baking powder and salt. Beat egg whites stiff; fold in egg whites, vanilla and nuts. Turn into 2 layer tins. Bake at 350* until done. Put whipped cream between layers and on top.
