1 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
3 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
3/4 c. milk
1 t. vanilla (or orange extract)

Filling:
1/2 c. orange juice
1 T. lemon juice
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cold water
1 c. butter
1 c. cornstarch
2 c. cold water
rind of 1 orange

Frosting:
1 egg yolk
2 T. orange juice
1/2 t. lemon juice
1/2 t. orange rind, grated
conf. sugar to thicken

Directions:
Directions:
Combine cake ingredients. Turn into layer tins. Bake at 350* for 25 minutes.
Filling:
Combine orange juice, lemon juice sugar, 1/2 c. cold water and butter. Dissolve cornstarch in 2 c. cold water. Combine everything and cook until thick. Cool.
Frosting:
Combine all until smooth and spreadable.
