1 c. sugar
2 T. cocoa
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
1/2 c. sour milk
1 t. soda
1 t. salt
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. boiling water

Filling:
2/3 c. water
1/2 c. sugar
1 T. cocoa
1 T. cornstarch
Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients. Mix well. Turn into layer pans. Bake at 350* for 25 - 30 minutes until done. Cool and put filling between layers. Chocolate frosting on top.
Filling:
Combine all and cook until thickened. Cool. Spread between layers.
