1 lb Ground Beef
1 medium Onion, chopped
1 clove Garlic, minced
796 ml (28 fluid oz) tin Spaghetti Sauce
156 ml (5.5 oz) tin Tomato Paste
1 small can of drained diced tomatoes (Optional)
250 ml (1 c) Water
Salt and Pepper to taste
500 g Soft Cheese (Cottage or Ricotta)
2 Eggs
1 box Lasagna Noodles (oven ready)
340 g (12 oz) Italian or Mozzarella Cheese, grated
125 g (1/2 c Parmesan Cheese

Directions:
Directions:
In skillet, brown beef, onion and garlic. Drain fat.
Stir in spaghetti sauce, tomato paste, water, salt and pepper. Simmer 15 minutes.
In small bowl, combine soft cheese and eggs.
Assembly:
Spread 3/4 c meat sauce over bottom of 3.5 l (13" x 9" x 12") pan. Set aside 1 1/2 c. sauce. Arrange 1 layer of noodles over sauce. Layer 1/2 remaining meat sauce, 1/2 soft cheese mixture and 1/2 mozzarella cheese. Cover with 2nd layer of noodles. Repeat meat sauce and cheese layers. Top with last noodles. Cover completely with reserved meat sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Bake at 350ºF (180º C) for 40 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
