1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 can (16 oz.) blackberries with juice (about 2 c)
1 c. sifted white self-rising flour
3/4 c. milk
3/4 c. granulated sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Melt butter in 8-inch square baking pan in oven. Place blackberries and juice in small saucepan; place over low heat until warm. Combine sugar, flour and milk in a bowl; blend well. Pour into baking pan with melted butter. Spoon in berries and juice evenly over batter; do not stir. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown.

Serve with ice cream.
