3 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup melted butter
2 cups milk
4 1/2 cups flour
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/4 cup warm water
1 cup raisins or 2 cups diced apples
oil for deep frying
powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl combine eggs and sugar. Add butter. then add milk and flour. Mix dry yeast in warm water add to batter. Place mixture in a warm place and let rise a few hours. Punch down let rise again. Add apples or raisins and drop from teaspoon in to hot oil, turn over once. Remove from deep fryer and drain on paper towels. Roll in powdered sugar.
