1 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup confectioner's sugar
2 t. vanilla extract
2 cups sifted flour
1 T. water
1 cup chopped pecans

Additional confectioner's sugar to roll cookies in)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine or butter and 1/4 c. confectioner's sugar; add vanilla extract and water. Add flour, mix well and add pecans. Form small rolls about 1 1/2 inch long and bake on ungreased cookie sheet in slow oven (300 degrees) for 20 - 30 minutes until delicately browned. While hot, roll in additional confectioner's sugar. Makes 3 dozen.
