MERINGUE KISSES:

Beat 3 Egg Whites until stiff. Add a dash of Salt with the mixer on high. Add 1 cup Sugar, little at a time, while sill beating. When meringue is very stiff & glossy, add 1 tsp. Vanilla. Mix well.
Drop batter on paper-lined cookie sheets. Bake in slow oven (200') for 1 hour. Remove from oven & cool on tray. Remove with spatula. Makes several dozen. Chopped nuts or Hershey kisses may be added before baking.

HAYSTACKS:
3 oz. Cream Cheese, 1/4 tsp. Vanilla,
2 T. Milk, dash of Salt,
2 C. Confectioner's Sugar, 3 C. mini Marshmallows,
2 oz. unsweetened Chocolate, flaked Coconut.

Combine softened cream cheese & milk. Gradually add sifted confectioner's sugar, melted chocolate, vanilla & salt. Fold in
marshmallows. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls on coconut. Toss until well covered. Place on baking sheet. Chill until firm. Makes 4 dozen.

Aunt Angie always brought kisses to the reunion. (she was my mom's sister). Our vacation was to spend a night or two with Uncle Lee & Aunt Angie in Shelbyville on their farm and she always had these and lots of other goodies for us. I'm sure we ate her out of house & home.
