1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water or beet juice
1/4 cup bark cinnamon
12 whole cloves
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. peper
Directions:
Directions:
In large pot cook beets, then peel and slice. Mix first 5 ingredients and boil for 5 minutes in covered pan. Remove the cinnamon and cloves. Add the beets, salt and pepper. Cook for 2 minutes. Put into sterilized jars and seal.
