4 pork chops
salt
pepper
1 T oil
2 sweet Italian sausages
1 onion, slivered
1/4 lb mushrooms, sliced
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 c dry red wine or broth
8oz tomato sauce
1/2 t Italian herb seasoning

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper. Brown well on both sides. Drain all except 1 T drippings from pan. Remove casings from sausage and crumble into fry pan. Mix with onion and mushroom. Cook until onion and sausage are browned lightly. Mix garlic. Return chops to pan, spooning sausage mixture over them. Pour in wine or broth and tomato sauce. Sprinkle with herbs. Bring to boil. Cover and simmer 35-40 minutes. Serves 4.
