Cut up washed lettuce in bowl. Sprinkle lightly with sugar. Drizzle with vinegar. I use apple cider vinegar. Stir well to coat lettuce. Taste. Add more sugar or vinegar to taste.

I never ate this lettuce salad until I met Russell. Grandma Great made it and I thought it was so good! I made it and Tay loved it! She asks me to make it.
