2 lbs ground beef
4 Tbsp. coconut or olive oil
2 onions, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 Tbsp. ginger-garlic masala
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. salt
1/4-1 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/8 tsp. cloves
1/8 tsp. cardamom
1 bay leaf
1/4 c. tomato paste
1 1/2 c. green peas
2 tsp. garam masala
1/4 c. cilantro, chopped

Heat oil in large fry pan and saute onions and green peppers, lightly. Add ground beef and brown, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, combine spices (except garam masala and cilantro) in a small bowl. Stir spices into ground beef. Add tomato paste to 1 cup water then add to beef mixture. Simmer gently for 15 to 20 minutes. Add the peas and cook a further 5-10 minute until tender. Sprinkle with garam masal and cilantro and serve.
