1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. buttermilk
1 deep dish pie shell
1 tsp. cinnamon
pinch of salt, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 400º.
Beat the butter and sugar together until light. Add eggs and beat; then beat in vanilla.
Sift the dry ingredients together and add to the batter, alternating with the buttermilk. Beat until smooth.
Pour into deep dish pie shell and bake for 10 min. Reduce heat to 350º and bake for 50-60 min.
Pie should turn nice golden brown and knife should come out clean.
