5 lbs. cucumbers, ripe
1 t. cinnamon
1 t. cloves
1 t. ginger
1/2 t. pepper
1 t. salt
1 1/2 lbs. brown sugar
2 c. vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Peel cukes, remove seeds and cut into pieces. Place in pot. Put spices in a mesh bag or chesecloth tied at the top. Add sugar, vinegar and spice bag to pot. Cook until cukes are transparent. Let stand overnight. Reheat, pack into hot jars. Process 5 minutes in hot water bath.
