1/4 C Butter or margarine
1 1/2 C Sugar
1 1/2 mashed banana's (3 medium)
2 eggs, well beaten
1tsp vanilla
2 C sifted flour
1tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 C buttermilk or sour milk
3/4 C nuts, Chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Pre Heat Oven to 325º
Cream butter and sugar thoroughly. Blend in bananas, eggs, & vanilla. Sift flour, baking soda & salt together. Add to banana mixture, alternating with buttermilk. Mixing thoroughly after each addition. Add nuts to the mix. Pour batter into two greased and floured 9x5x3 loaf pan. Bake for 1 1/4 hrs, or until done.
