2 lb. ground beef
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1 large can tomatoes (I usually use diced or crushed)
1 large can of tomato sauce
2 can's kidney beans or chili beans (we prefer kidney beans)
3 T. (heaping) chili powder
1 tsp. cumin
Salt to taste
Spaghetti (optional) cooked

Directions:

Brown meat in a large pot; drain and stir in onion soup mix, chili powder, cumin and salt. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce and kidney beans. I usually add 1- 2 cans of water. Cover, simmer over low heat from 1 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
