1 barbecued chicken from grocery store to feed 3-4
5 quarts water
3/4 c. rice
1 medium onion
6-7 stocks celery
2 c. carrots chopped
Anything else you want to add, eg. quinoa, shredded cabbage,sshredded broccoli,lentils etc.
You get the idea
2 c. macaroni
1 c. peas

Have a chicken supper that serves 3-4
Have the leftover chicken set aside and cut into pieces
Boil the bones in about 5 quarts of water for at least 3 hours (use a large stock pot)
The next day cut up 5 potatoes and add
Add rice, onion,celery, carrots and anything else you want to put in there
As you put in all of the ingredients they should be visible from the top of the stock
Stirring should be difficult as there is a lot in that pot
Nearing the end of an hour or two the soup should be getting thick
The potatoes should start to melt
Add the macaroni and the peas
Season with salt and pepper to taste, add whatever spices desired to taste too
The next day the soup will be very thick
Add 1 small KFC gravy
Use a homemade or a store-bought double piecrust
Place 1 crust in a 9 inch pie plate and bake about 7 minutes at 450°
Add chicken filling
Put top crust on and cut vent slits
Bake in 375° oven for 1 hour until crust is brown and chicken mixture is bubbly
