4 to 5 mirlitons
1 large onion, chopped
cooking oil
1/2 cup parsley, chopped
1 cup chopped green onions
1/2 stalk of celery, chopped
1 large bell pepper, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup cooked rice
1 pound crab meat
bread crumbs

Directions:
Directions:
Boil mirlitons until tender, cut off tops; scoop out inside pulp, leaving the shells intact to stuff later. Saute onion in oil in skillet. Add mirliton pulp, cook till tender. Combine parsley, green onions, celery, bell pepper and rice, add to sauted vegetables. Add crab meat and mix. Stuff into mirliton shells top with bread crumbs. Bake uncovered in a casserole dish at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.
