4 cups peeled, sliced fresh peaches
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. water
1/2 cup butter, at room temperature, cut into cubes
1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Lightly butter an 8-inch square pan. Gently toss peaches with water & lemon juice. Pour into baking pan. Combine flour, sugars, salt, & cinnamon. Cut butter into flour mixture with a pastry blender until crumbly (or use your hands to mix together). Sprinkle over the peaches. Bake 1 hour at 350º until bubbly & slightly crispy crust. Best served warm. Good with a little milk poured over the top or with whipped cream.
