1 cup butter
2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup cold coffee
3 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon cinnamon
for glaze
2 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup butter
hot coffee

cream butter and sugar
add eggs and mix until light and fluffy
add dry ingredients
drop by teaspoonful onto cookie sheet and bake at 350 º for 8 to 10 minutes

Personal Notes:
This recipe makes a lot of cookies and they take forever to frost. I suggest cutting in half but make a full recipe of frosting.
Timesaver: I use a Wilton tip #24 and a pastry bag to drop the batter onto the cookie sheet. Works great! Also I apply the frosting using a Wilton tip #10 then spread with a knife.
