1 lb. lean ground beef
1 egg
1/4 cup bread crumbs
dash of pepper
1 pkt. dry onion soup mix
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp. canola oil
2 Tbsp. flour
4 oz. bottled mushrooms, drained with liquid saved
2 cups liquid ( juice from bottled mushrooms plus water)

Mix ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, dash pepper, Worcestershire sauce, & 1/2 the dry onion soup mix together well. Form patties. Heat oil in skillet; cook patties until cooked through. Remove patties to a plate. Add flour to skillet; stir constantly while it lightly browns. Whisk in 2 cups liquid until smooth. Stir in remaining 1/2 dry onion soup mix & mushrooms. Cook over medium-low heat until sauce starts to thicken. Add patties to sauce & continue to cook until sauce is slightly more thickened & patties are heated.
